Primary PSN Account

A Primary PSN Account is the main activated account on a PlayStation console.
When an account is set as Primary, all users on that console can access its purchased games, DLCs, and subscriptions. It also allows offline play of digital games and enables features like game sharing (within Sony’s allowed limits).

Secondary PSN Account

A Secondary PSN Account is the same PlayStation account logged in on another console without being set as Primary.
On a secondary console, games can still be played, but only by the account owner, and an active internet connection is usually required. Game sharing is restricted compared to a Primary setup.
